Welcome to Venice Beach Studios (VBS), located at 606 Venice Blvd. in Venice Beach, California, on the Blank Spaces campus.

 

 

Finding a convenient base camp for feature films or television projects can be one of the biggest challenges in production. With the launch of Venice Beach Studios, that challenge is now a thing of the past. VBS is managed by a team of seasoned professionals with extensive experience as union and non-union crew members on some of the most renowned projects over the past 25 years. This expertise has given us insights into the difficulties of locating a turnkey solution in Los Angeles, making filming as seamless as possible, even outside major studio lots. This is why we are proud to introduce what we call a micro studio lot.

Venice Beach Studios is more than just a single location at the corner of Abbot Kinney and Venice; it encompasses the entire Venice and Santa Monica areas, along with nearby communities. We have established pre-arranged agreements with local restaurants, bars, boardwalk locations, private shops, and parking facilities. Additionally, our in-house equipment rental facility includes a welding shop, machine shop, wood shop, and, most importantly, a 50,000 square-foot private gated community.

As we develop our micro studio backlot in the opening months of 2025, you will discover some of the most convenient and affordable filming locations on the marina-adjacent west side.

 

Our mission is to revitalize the Venice Beach filming community by supporting filmmakers in every possible way to ensure the best and most efficient experience. We aim to save you money, cut through the red tape, and serve as a liaison between production companies and studios.

Our base camp features excellent facilities for talent, including a restaurant, gym, beauty salon, and ample space for catering and craft services. While we encourage you to bring your production trucks onto our lot, we also offer numerous offices available for short-term leasing, creating endless opportunities to save on your honey wagons and production office trucks. These savings can be reinvested back into your production.
